3. Throttle valve: Under various working conditions, automatically or manually control the fuel pressure (amount) flowing into the injector.

4. Fuel cut-off valve: cut off the fuel supply to turn off the diesel engine.

To sum up: PT fuel pump plays the role of fuel supply, pressure regulation and speed regulation in Cummins diesel generator fuel system. That is, supply fuel into the injector under appropriate pressure; adjust the fuel supply pressure in time when the speed or load of the diesel engine changes, so as to change the fuel supply to meet the needs of changing working conditions; adjust and stabilize the speed of the diesel engine.
